Each week during the school year, the school communication department produces the comprehensive school e-mail newsletter that you are now reading, known as the Paladin Press. The Press team assembles content produced by each of the areas of the school with the goal of distributing the newsletter every Wednesday afternoon.
In a departure from last school year, the Press will be the only scheduled weekly communication, other than any individual classroom newsletters, that will be sent out. Each school Principal will contribute news items to the Paladin Press rather than writing their own e-mailed newsletters. We initiated this change to reduce the amount of duplicative information that was occuring last year in the three separate school newsletters and the Paladin Press.
Each week in The Press you will find regular sections covering each of the schools (Lower, Middle and High) as well as Campus Ministry, Athletics, Fine Arts and other school areas. We will also highlight stories of particular interest and upcoming events each week in the Featured Stories and Upcoming Events sections. The Pinecrest website and calendars are also easily accessible from the newsletter.
Please take time each week to browse through all of the sections and read about all that is going on at Pinecrest. Previous editions are available on the Resource Board Newsletter Archive accessible through the Community Login.
Suggested contributions to the Paladin Press are happily accepted provided that they reach our editor, Vivian Heard, by noon on Tuesday. We also want your feedback.
