Eighth Graders Exhibit Creativity with Advent Calendar Project

For their Religion exam, 8th graders created an Advent Calendar. They had to come up with 25 "containers" that would hold 25 different Bible verses, 25 different personal prayers (20 words or more), and 25 different sacrifices or actions, as well as a solid way to display.

The Advent Calendar project had to be created completely by the student and be presentable, durable, and reusable by their families each Advent.

The project was also a contest with the top three receiving prizes.  A special thank you to the six faculty judges who stopped by to vote.

Congratulations to the following 8th graders:

1st place:  Michelle  Martinez-Macchiavello (#8)
2nd place:  Nikki Tabak (#7)
3rd place:  Ethan Tam (#11)
