Bishop's Holiday Coming in February
You may know that each school year, we are granted a special holiday by the Archbishop of Atlanta, a bonus day added to our regular holiday calendar.
As you can imagine, this “Bishop’s Holiday” is a nice gift for our students, faculty and staff!
In a typical year, the Bishop’s Holiday follows Easter break. However, this school year, Easter coincides with Spring Break. For that reason, we will use Tuesday, February 20, as our Bishop's Holiday. The selection of this date creates a mini-winter break for everyone during the long haul to spring break, as we are already scheduled to be off on Monday, February 19 for Presidents’ Day. Additionally, it better lines up with Forsyth County’s school calendar.
We hope this additional holiday allows for some special family time for all!
