Lower School Receptionist

Pinecrest Academy is seeking resumes for a Lower School Receptionist.  The receptionist position provides front office support including, but not limited to welcoming and attending to school visitors, parents, staff, and students, answering phones, directing calls, and coordinating general school office operations.  The position requirements include strong customer service and communication skills. This is a full-time position and offers a competitive salary and benefits.

• High School Diploma or higher 
• Excellent written/oral communication skills 
• Excellent organizational and planning skills 
• Ability to learn/use multiple technology platforms 
• Ability to multi-task 
• Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to use sound judgement 
• A genuine ability to connect with and serve young people in a Christian community 
• An eagerness to serve in a faith-based academic environment 
• Offer warm welcomes to all students, parents, and guests 
• Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed 
• Contact parents/guardians regarding student absence(s)
• Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring guests’ entrance
• Check in substitute teachers and issue necessary materials 
• Must maintain attendance reports and other documentation as needed 
• First line of first aid for injured or ill students, working closely with the school nurse 
• Any task that is needed or assigned to advance the work of Pinecrest Academy

To perform other duties as assigned by the Pk - 8 Principal.
