Blanca Snyder, Prek-8th Grade Principal

Dr. Blanca Plazas Snyder earned a B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology from DePaul University, her M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Miami, and a Doctorate in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston. Dr. Snyder brings with her over 10 years of experience across a range of educational settings, including educational policy and research, classroom experience, and most recently as a Head of Middle School at a Catholic independent school. In addition to bringing in new programs into the middle school, she served on an accreditation team, and consulted with private Christian schools on curriculum. She was born and raised in Chicago and is a native Spanish speaker. When she is not at school, you’ll find Blanca enjoying time outdoors with her four children, husband David and two Labradors.
