Fr. Terrance Allen, LC
Ordained to the priesthood on May 4, 2019 and arrived at Pinecrest that fall to be a chaplain. Fr Terrance grew up in Northern Michigan and his family moved to the Detroit area in order for him and his siblings to attend Everest Academy (a Regnum Christi sister school of Pinecrest). He went to an all boys minor seminary boarding High School in New Hampshire and entered the Legion of Christ seminary immediately out of High School.
His studies include an associates degree in the Liberal Arts, excelled in Latin & Greek studies for over 7 years, a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, Spiritual Direction Certificate from Divine Mercy University, and a master’s degree in moral theology from Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Athenaeum in Rome, Italy.
Fr Terrance’s previous ministries before arriving at Pinecrest include Mid-Atlantic Regional Director of Conquest, Camp Castleton Property manager, Senior Consultant to the Washington DC Leadership Training Program, Marketing Director of Northern Virginia boys’ ECYD and one the last Legion of Christ fundraising road warriors.
Some of Fr Terrance’s lesser known current roles in addition to what comes with being chaplain at Pinecrest include: mentor to the ECYD local & national directors, Camp Atlantas auxiliary camp mom for homesick boys, and is known for free, fearless, full speed ambushes of boys that make the best use of the full force of gravity
