Ansley Heard ’14

Ansley Heard ’14 and Santiago Santos Marquez were married in a nuptial Mass on April 6, 2024 at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in downtown Atlanta. The reception took place at The Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta. Three Pinecrest alums were part of the bridal party, including Danielle Bartling ’14, Lizzie Stubbs Vera ’14, and Jessica Zalzman ’14. Family and friends from across the globe – including Colombia, Australia, Germany, Austria, and the U.S. - joined in the celebration!

Ansley and Santi met in Spain in April 2022 when they were both teaching in Alicante. They plan to return to Spain in early June, enjoy a delayed honeymoon in Europe, and then relocate to Vietnam in the fall to teach. Future plans include an eventual return to the U.S.
