Calling for Volunteers!
The 2019 Gala, Bourbon & Bubbles, is March 2, 2019, and the best volunteer spots for the Gala are now open! Our Gala committee has openings for Gift Basket and Art Project volunteers. If you'd like to help, learn more below and click the links to sign up!
Gala Basket Representatives
One parent representative from each Lower School classroom, and one girl and one boy from each grade level in the Middle School, is needed. Gala Basket Representatives will help collect items for baskets that will be auctioned off at the Gala. Basket themes will assigned by the Gala committee to avoid duplicates. You do not have to be crafty or creative to help -- just email parents and collect items for your basket! The Gala team can do the assembling. More detailed information will be sent to those who volunteer. When representatives have been determined, please send names to Dawn Lockert at

Art Project Representatives
Parent representatives are needed for each classroom in the Lower School. One girl and one boy from each grade level in the Middle School is also needed. Representatives will coordinate art projects, created by students, that will be auctioned off at Gala. The Art project can be anything you want do -- from simple to elaborate! Car Raffle
The Gala committee asks every family to sell 20 raffle tickets to help support Bourbon & Bubbles! Raffle tickets and an informational flier have been sent home to Lower and Middle School parents – check your child’s backpack. The High School Student Council is handling ticket distribution for high school students. Raffle tickets are $20 each, and you may accept cash or checks, payable to Pinecrest Academy. The last day to turn in tickets is February 27, 2019.
Once your family has sold your tickets, please place ticket stubs and money in an envelope with your child’s name on it and deliver to the front office (Building D). If your family would like to sell additional tickets, they can be picked up in the front office! Details about student prizes and the vehicles being raffled can be found on the informational flier. A big thank you to Billy Howell Ford/Lincoln and Roswell INFINITI of North Atlanta for partnering with us in making this raffle possible!
Carpool Gift Card Collection – December 6 and 7
Mark your calendars! The Gala Committee will be out in Lower School and Middle School Carpool on Thursday, December 6 and Friday, December 7, collecting Gift Cards of $25 or more for the Gala. Gift Cards can be for everything and anything! Grocery stores like Kroger and Publix often offer discounts on groceries and fuel when you purchase gift cards at their stores! Think outside the box - fitness centers, teeth whitening, car washes -- you name it, we will take it! See you in carpool!
