Show Off Your Pottery Skills – Make a Bowl!

The Empty Bowls Project is a global initiative which benefits the hungry, and each fall, Mrs. Stone and her National Art Honor Society students participate in this initiative. Students create original bowls, glaze them, fire them - and then many are used for an Empty Bowls Dinner.

 

You, too, are invited to come to Mrs. Stone’s art room in the high school to make a bowl, while supporting Atlanta’s homeless! You can either make a donation for your bowl and take it home, or donate your bowl to the Empty Bowls Dinner. If you’d like to make a bowl, contact Mrs. Stone at astone@pinecrestacademy.org, so she can plan for you!  This is open to ALL -- Lower, Middle, and High School parents!
