8th Graders Impress with Creative Advent Calendars

Our 8th graders were charged with creating Advent Calendars for their Religion mid-term exam.

 

Students were required to find 25 Bible verses about the birth of Christ, create 25 personal prayers, and decide upon 25 personal sacrifices or actions. They were to select 25 items - each item would contain a verse, a prayer, and a sacrifice - and then put the project all together in a display format.  

 

The outcome was incredible. Some of these calendars could be sold for a nice price in any store, according to Mrs. Jordan!

 

Judges came by and voted on the most creative calendars. The winners are:

 

 

We are so proud of these students on their creativity and originality. There were so many amazing calendars! Congratulations to our winners and to all for working so hard!
