Experience a Rorate Mass - December 5, 12 and 19

Pinecrest began celebrating Rorate Masses a couple of years ago during the Advent season. Join us for the Rorate Mass tomorrow, December 12.
The Rorate Mass is a Mass in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary for the season of Advent. It has a long tradition in the Catholic Church, in which Mass begins when it is still dark and celebrated by candlelight. By the end of Mass, the sun has risen, and the entire church is filled with sunlight. It's an experience you won't want to miss.

Rorate Masses will be celebrated the next three Thursdays at 7:00am in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel.  Mark your calendars for December 5, December 12, and December 19, and join us for these truly beautiful Masses.

The Mass on December 12 will be offered for the repose of the soul of Matthew Gerard Tollett, the late son of Doug and Brenda Tollett, who dedicated Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel in his memory.  We are hoping to fill the chapel on this particular day.  As a special note, the anniversary of Matthew’s passing is on December 11, and that 7:00am Mass will also be offered in his memory.

Our hope is that the Rorate Masses will help everyone enter deeper into the meaning of Advent, a time of expectation, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Son of God, the Light of the World.
